There has been much mystery, speculation, research, and counfoundment over the last century as to the actual historical identity and person of the Tibetan Master DK/Djwhal Khul ranging from the mysterious Tibetan lama photographed by Aloha Wanderwell (sometimes mistakenly attributed to Nicholas Roerich) which photo was also clearly the model of the well circulated Gowland painting and it's variations, to the Ninth Panchen Lama and close proximity possible candidates such as Ngagchen Rinpoche. Alice A. Bailey had a large blown up portrait of a photograph of the Ninth Panchen Lama in her NYC apartment whom she told her grandson that was the Master DK when he asked if it was. Beyond both blind faith and bickering over dates and details and whether it's possible for (at that time) a 5th Degree Initiate Master Of Wisdom to make His way around such historical dates and details necessary being an Agent of High Service not only for the Sacred State of Tibet but also the Trans-Himalayan Great Brotherhood at a time of rising tension for both Tibet and the whole world therefore needing to be discreet about such Service and Identity even if hiding in plain sight. Let us be radically honest then; Beside the fact we don't really know 108% for certain; AAB was a Third Degree Initiate therefore certainly a senior disciple and thus somewhat reliable authority having worked with Master DK on the Transmission in which they collaborated for thirty years. Wouldn't she more than likely know better who DK was if and when seen and sensed clairevoyantly and so forth just a tad bit more than the rest of us ultra clever armchair, Wikipedia and even sassier sophisticated super sleuths of said esoteric Hierarchical history? Why would she tell family or anyone "Yes", that was Him the Master DK about a portrait of the Ninth Panchen Lama she had if He wasn't?
